This beacon sits atop the brand spankin' new Frank and Sylvia Pasquerilla Spiritual Center at Penn State. Initially, I was disturbed at the idea of a religious center that shunned the trappings of all religions (kind of like the uselessness of Unitarian churches), but I changed my POV to believe this site will be shared by many different religious groups each fully enjoying their individual beliefs while accepting the others. It could go either way, but the building is gorgeous architecturally -- inside and out. This light sits atop the spire of the spiritual center.
