'Heavenly Creatures' was fantastic. Review below.

Proteus was packed, as usual, with it over-abundance of (seemingly) much too young (and much too attractive for my poor old heart) dancin' fools, and foolettes. Unfortunately there was also an over-zealous (and over X'd) beast of a woman who wouldn't leave me alone. I'd already told her I was straight and couldn't think of any un-cruel way to ditch her, so I had to put up with her the whole night.

She even followed us to Hollywood. Hollywood is a new hang-out for me, but my friends (and my boss, apparently) spend lots of their time there. During the day, it's a mild mannered dyke club, but late at night (or early in the morn) it becomes the crack to which all the nocturnal roach-beings of Austin run to. It's really quite a scene with all the club kids, and X fiends trying to keep busy so they don't have to go home just quite yet.

I slept almost all of SaturDAY, and went again to see the feel good movie of the year (review, again, below.)

I've finished all but one or two items of Christmas shopping, and have prepared the VCR to tape the important show while I'm gone, so...

Oh - and a fond farewell to our buds Milky Ray and Goober#1 Walters. Both have graduated and found jobs which will probably keep them off the 'net for a while. Keep your thought s focused on them in hopes that they can once again return to the Eden of Cyber.

Priscilla, PRISCILLA!!!!
Go see the funnest movie of 1994.
If you're fond of animation, and weird things - Keep an eye out for Mtv's Oddities. The first week should feature a show called 'The Head'. The story is about a man who has an alien being living inside his cranium (right on top of the gray matter). The second week will feature one my favorite good times ass-kickin' underground comics 'The MaXX'. This is a treat you should use to occupy yourself over the XMas break.

On the reccommendation of a friend (thanks, Kell!) I went and saw the New Zeland flick 'Heavenly Creatures' on it's first night in Austin. Don't read any reviews for this movie. Simply take my (and several other movie critics) word for it, and go see the movie. You're much better off seeing this movie if you have no idea what's going to happen.

Also, GO SEE 'The Adventure of Priscilla: Queen of the Dessert'. This is the alternative feel-good movie of the year. Even if you aren't a transvestite or a cross dresser, you'll LOVE this movie.
