beckyEntertainmentRemembering the Alamo, Part 1

This is probably the first of many posts in the next week about the closing of the original Alamo Drafthouse since John and I will practically be living there until the doors close on Wednesday. I’ve been feeling all nostalgic about the move for months and was moved to tears after reading XL’s cover story today. I think it was the photo of 1997 Tim looking like a sweet faced teenager and wearing a TUCKED IN SWEATER that got me.

John and I are both a lot excited and a little overwhelmed by this next week of viewing pleasure:
Tonight: The Ultimate Singalong Mixed Tape!
Saturday: Joss Whedons Birthday, including Serenity screening, Buffy Sing-Along and Buffy and Angel finales
Sunday: Half-Ass-A-Thon
Wednesday: Last Night at the Alamo - The Big Night Feast, Earthquake, Night Warning

Yep, 3 of those events will be over 9 hours of entertainment heaven. As our friend Bryan Thompson would say, we “can sleep when we’re dead.” For your viewing pleasure, here’s our group photo for our application for BNAT 6:
