A friend and I met and got our copies of The Great Outdoor Fight signed by Mr. Onstad in Boston this past Saturday.  Quite a turnout.  We talked very briefly about children after he inscribed the book to Eliot.

Afterwards, I thought to myself “Am I a bad father? Why did I have him inscribe it to Eliot? He shouldn’t read this until he’s, like, 18.“  Ah well.  At least I was thinking of him, right?
