My First Web2.0 App, and Fantastic Fest

A few days after I returned from Brazil I started working on my first Web 2.0 application — a scheduling utility that would help me plan my Fantastic Fest attendance based on the movies I wanted to see most. I think it is pretty mature considering I worked on it 99% alone and have only spent 3 weeks on it. It’s over there on the left sidebar, and even if you aren’t attending the festival I would appreciate it if you gave it a spin and sent me some feedback. I plan on a few more tweaks, and adding a version for ACL before I start on Facebook integration. Then…who knows, the world?!?

Speaking of Fantastic Fest, I’ll be attending this week and next which should mean a daily post with reviews and trailers. Maybe I’ll even have wild or crazy stories about the famous people I saw on the other side of the room but was too shy to talk to.

p.s. Can someone play “explain the comic” with me? Maybe I don’t grasp economics well enough to understand Today’s Dilbert.
