Ars Technica ran an article a couple of days ago pimping eMusic. Interesting premise – sell legal music at reasonable prices and trust the customers. All the songs are .mp3 encoded, so will play on whatever you want.

I’ve been a subscriber for a bit over 8 months, and haven’t had a problem finding enough interesting stuff to pull down each month (mostly Jazz, but some actual interesting music). Lately, though, they’ve been really adding some good stuff. Notably for this crowd, they’ve got Trout Fishing in America’s back catalog. So, if you’re feeling guilty about carrying around a dubbed cassette of the Pico de Gallo song for the last two decades, go sign up for the free trial.

Nothing special to post. Just wanted to say hello and thanks to John for letting me in. I’ll try to be good. (hopefully my icon will be up shortly).
