An interesting development in the ongoing saga of trying to site a safe, clean, sustainable power source. We’ve covered this here and here

In any case, it looks like the Cape Wind Farm is getting killed by a rider placed on a bill by Rep. Don Young (R-Alaska), chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.

So, the Kennedys and others get to keep their views, and ratepayers on Cape Cod continue to be dependent on fossil fuel, complete with fallout from coal-powered plants in the midwest. Way to look out for your constituients, Gov. Mitt Romney® and Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.).
