I grabbed Ecto the other night, and am digging on it, at least as a first impression. Handles much of the mucking about with both the Moveable Type here, and the WordPress at the running blog without having to wait for the web client. Plus, it’s cross-platform and relatively cheap – for $35, I can buy both Windows and Mac. If there were an option to install it to a thumb drive, I might be completely there. There’s a couple of pretty cool features, like a backdoor to Amazon – three clicks to ask for apipe dream, let you know what I’m running on iTunes
