At least when they make fun of Santorum I can rest easy knowing that no one around me voted for him. I remember joining MoveOn when they actually stood for one thing, and writing Kay Bailey a letter expressing my displeasure at the Senate’s persecution of President Clinton. (Gee, what could he have accomplished in those last couple years if he wasn’t distracted? Maybe something to stop the failing economy, or to strengthen the nation’s security?) Kay Bailey actually sent me a form letter in reply — she had a form letter all ready just for this argument — explaining how strongly she felt about Clinton’s perjury and how important it was that the special prosecutor persue that farce…over oral sex.
