In preparation for the upcoming Great Westward Migration (if anyone in Austin wants to hire me, just let me know.) I’ve added a few Texas-centric blogs to my bloglines list.
First was the Austinist – a website about Austin, edited by Ben Brown. Helpful for learning about goings-on and such – I plan to see the roller derby upon my arrival. They pointed me towards Pink Dome, a blog about Texas Politices with a perspective I can appreciate. Can’t wait for the coverage of the Carol Keeton Rylander Strayhorn campaign for Governor – she’s one tough grandma! Pink Dome, in turn, pointed me towards the Kinky Friedman for Governor campaign, and associated blog. Y’all got any other Texas blog recommendations? Make sure they publish a feed, I’m too lazy to check for updates manually.
