I wasn’t one of those folks obsessively trying to figure out who Deep Throat was, I was just content to be intrigued with the idea of some mysterious government figure pointing W&B towards the truth about a break-in that was being expertly covered up. Truthfully, I was hoping for DT to be Diane Sawyer because it would have lent some serious panache to the pseudonym, but that’s just me. Anyhoo.
