So, any ideas?

I have over 35,000 messages in my trash folder, which are supposedly deleted after 30 days, but they go back to last August. As far as I can tell, you can only delete 100 messages at a time by selecting all on the screen and “delete forever”. So I could do that several hundred times, but that would suck.
