In simplest terms, the golden age of computing of the ’60s and ’70s was fueled by a fat pipe of government money. The Department of Defense’s Advanced Research Projects Agency funded a wide range of what-if projects, including the work that spawned the Internet.

New Movie Search by Google: Have you ever remembered a quote or scene from a movie, but forgot which movie it came from? Google just enhanced their search to include movies. To do a movie search, type movie: before a search, and it will limit your search to movies. Examples of what you can search for:
