Could just be that Jake’s seriously into dinosaurs, and most nights we end up reading about them, but this bit at Wired is pretty cool.

Some paleontologists over in China have found a cat-sized mammal from a couple million years ago with bits of a tiny dinosaur in its tummy. They also found a dog-sized dino of a similar species nearby.

What makes this particularly freaky is that the CW is that mammals stayed mouse-size or smaller until after the dinosaurs were extinct.

How could you not love the weather up here? Tuesday and Wendsday we got about 5 inches of snow, followed by freezing rain. Today? It hit the 50’s.

The cool side-effect is that the piles of snow are all steaming (well, not steaming – condensing doesn’t sound as good). I took a video of the piles; however, I shot it too long, and don’t have a compression utility. Maybe iMovie at the house…
