It’s not as bad as (or prolific) DFC but this Calvin and Hobbes re-edit is twisted.

I’m digging it more and more. The other day I’m searching for something, and my mouse happens to hover over the “Site Information” button.

Little stuff like this completely makes my day. Though Amazon, after a month or so of my devotion to the A9 toolbar probably knows more about me than even my lovely wife.

Jake is off the wall, and every other question is “What am I getting for Christmas?” Though he is excited (now that he finally understands what a secret is) about suprising his family with gifts on Christmas. It did take, however, threats from Missy that he’d lose a present for every time he blabbed what she’d bought for me or the rest of the family.

I differ with his siding with alleged nut-job Krugman and blaming the whole mess on the Bush Administration, since the coming train wreck with entitlement programs has been visible since, well, it became obvious in the 80’s that Boomers weren’t having kids in enough numbers to support them in their dotage since they (the Boomers) felt it more important to do things like “find themselves” and “take lots and lots of drugs” than to pass on the values and traditions of their parents. But at least he’s clear on what the problem is.

A shared vision of a problem puts us that much closer to a solution.

In any case, check him out.

Not that movies should guide our policies, but believers in privatization should catch “It’s a Wonderful Life” this season.

Christian turned me on to the ultimate deisel – a Lambourghini – 310 horses of pure Volkswagen power, and 553 ft-lbs of torque. Whatever the heck that is.

In related news, there’s diesel aircraft engines kicking about.
