Here’s a nice historical perusal of Nintendo’s Mario. It’s good Monday fodder to go with my review, here:
Spurred by positive reviews at several trust-worthy sites (including Penny Arcade), I picked up Donkey Konga at the CostCo. As Tycho.PA says, it’s a lot of fun if you can get past the “too cool for school” chip on your shoulder — much like karaoke. My friend, Dr. Jill “I love being called Dr.” Bettinger, let on that she isn’t afraid to dance in public since her daughter got old enough to shake it. My guess is people with children will be able to get into this game easier for the same reason. It is a lot of uninhibited fun.
