Christian is going to give me grief for this any day now, but I think we’ve actually had this conversation at work:

I’m really shocked at how quickly the world changed in the last couple of decades, and how completely dependant on when you were born one’s perspective on technology is.

Following Kelly’s find of Hey, Hey, 16K way back when, I really kind of got into MJ Hibbert and the Validators. I’d enjoyed the free songs on the site and finally broke down and bought a couple of albums. Figured it was the least I could do seeing as how I’m not quite sure of when I’ll next catch a live act, what with babies and all.
Anyhoo, Mark still does his own mail, apparently. The entire cover letter is here
So I was heading to school the other day and passed by one of my favorite Norman restaurants, Texadelphia, the Austin transplant. I thought it was kinda funny that they had on their sign:
We luv Bevo…in our cheesesteaks!
Great stuff for this weekends game pitting the Sooners v. the Horns.
I hope for a good game, but more importantly 4 more years.
If I – 1.Routinely followed a radio show that wasn’t on while I commuted
2.Didn’t have my computer set up in the basement
3.Had $70 to spare
Then the Radio Shark might be a little more tempting. It does AAC recording, so I could, in theory, move content to my iPod, but eh.
It does look cool.
