Red and Rover set the tune for the post-season. I threw up comments under the Veep Debate thread, but wanted to open another thread here. The post-season looks to be good this year. It lacks the Sox/Cubbies hopes of last year, but IMO, the 8 teams playing this year are some of the best to make the playoffs in a long while.

And watching Tori Hunter last night was a thing of beauty. Playing Fantasy Baseball for the last several years, offensive stats are the focus of most attention. But last night, Hunter showed that defense is not a given, and that a single skilled player in the field can sometimes have more impact than a player at the plate.
