WSJ’s Best of the Web Today linked to Swimming through the Spin which has both praise for the new Star Wars box set and a pretty funny comparison between C3PO and John Kerry:
But as I tried to get into those stories again, my mind kept going back to the spin I’m faced with on a daily basis. Something was nagging me. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it, but then it dawned on me. Threepio, with his constant negativity and *itching, was starting to sound like John Kerry.
Quotes to follow:
A friend of mine (Dean supporter, BTW – not a right wing whacko) asked: Who the f- is running Kerry’s camp? Cause he should be fired. Kerry is down in polls on national sercurity which is what many independent and undecided voters base their vote on…but NO ONE THINKS KERRY IS A STRONG MILITARY PERSON. You can’t testify in front of the Senate claiming terrible things, later repent them and vote againist every military bill other then the war for Iraq, and then claim to be a strong canidate for national sercurity.
My Take? Campaign advisers usually become cabinet advisors. Karl Rove may be evil, but he’s damn good at what he does, showing that W can hire good people. So if you’re looking for government as good as Kerry’s campaign, vote for the DNC.
