Today’s reason: war on terror, yet terror increases.

The numbers that previously stated the War on Terror was a mild success turn out to be incorrect. In fact, terror attacks increased in 2003 and the attackers gained efficiency. The Head of the State Department’s counterterrorism office, J. Cofer Black, called it an honest mistake and said it was “not a deliberate deception.” Just like the link between Al Qaeda and Iraq, Iraq’s nuclear bomb, numbers on the economy, the cost of the war, and the cost of the the new Medicare prescription drug benefit.

<shrill>Deliberate deception or incompetence. Both are reasons I can’t vote for Bush.</shrill>

ABC News will be broadcasting an interview with Paula Jones tonight (I think) where she tenuously confirms Hilary’s suspicions.

Hillary Rodham Clinton famously blamed the scandals that led to her husband’s impeachment on a “vast right-wing conspiracy.” Jones told ABC News Primetime’s Cynthia McFadden: “I agree that I was a small little entity in this big vast whatever-you-want-to-call-it that got erected.”

I remember during my high shool days wandering around the house singing the latest FGTH tune that I heard on the MtV:

… In Xanadu did Kublai Khan
A pleasuredome erect …

and my mother (who was working through her final years of her Psych Bach.) was appalled that I would sing the word “erect” in front of her.

Beavis, if you please:

I am selling my previous TV. If you know someone in the Austin area who wants a widescreen high-def TV on the “cheap”, please direct them to this web page.

(This may sound like a repost but I want to sell this TV so I can buy more stuff.)

Sadaam Hussein was charged today in Iraqi court.

“This is all a theater, the real criminal is Bush,” Saddam said, during one outburst, referring to the U.S. president.

Another interesting bit And then toward the end, he was asked whether he could afford counsel, whether he had any legal counsel, at which point, he looked around and with a sort of half smile said, “But everybody says, the Americans say I have millions of dollars stashed in Geneva. Why shouldn’t I be able to afford a lawyer?” Is this going to be another “Bush Lied” bit?

Cassini-Huygens is in orbit around Saturn. No messed up unit conversions, nada. This is the furthest from earth we’ve been able to park something in orbit around another body.
