After a couple fruitless hours in Chinatown — the best “find” was DVDs of The Eye and Ghost Story — Kelly and I made our way to the edge of SoHo at half-past-Two-o-clocktail. We’re sitting at the bar of Mekong Vietnamese Restaurant & Bar sipping Anchor Steam, Stella Artois and Brooklyn Lager while the Stones play on the overhead speakers. We are almost singularly committing this act of apparent SoHo treason since all the hipsters are sitting on the outdoor patio which is Sardine Tin Town.
