25 out of 30 — In your face, hippie!

However, I take exception to the simple machine question — isn’t a knife actually an inclined plane?

It is a complex machine: an inclined plane + a lever — that’s two simple machines combined.

24 out of 30. Would have liked to have been able to see the answers to the true/false questions.

My exception: there is a Kansas City MO and a Kansas City KS. No one wants to be in KC, KS for longer than a few seconds. Yecchh.

26 out of 30.

One of the misses was careless (Subject/Predicate confusion).

And here’s a question – can it really be said that the Equator doesn’t run vertically? Wouldn’t it depend on one’s plane of reference?
