So, moving into the new digs in Mystic, and I find the following quandry:

I can get mini-fluorescent light bulbs. Use about 1/4 the energy for a given level of light, and last about 5x longer than regular bulbs, for about 2x the price.

However, they contain mercury, which is toxic when the bulb finally burns out and I send it to the landfill.

What to do?
