14:45 of fame to go
Just to share the mild excitement — I’m now a serious commercial photographer (unpaid, and uncredited)
The National Film Challenge is using one of my photos as the background image for its site. It’s one I took while working with a friend on a 48 hour film this year.
Tips from the pro:
Converting your photos to lo-res black and white and hiding them behind text makes them look a lot more serious than they are.
No matter how crappy your camera, concept, crew, and/or actors, having a real boom microphone will make you indistinguishable from even the most professional independent film production.
