Last night watching the news after the stunning MNF for the calendar challenged, there was a wonderful piece about a local newspaper delivery person.
The best part is that the guy was arrested 2 streets away from our house.
I’m waiting to see if maybe they’ll hire a nice, young coed before I finally subscribe to the Norman Transcript.
Welcome to Norman, OK.
One of the best shows of last season, “Firefly” was canceled by the idiots who run Fox. Joss Whedon’s space cowboys and cowgirls dramedy started out shaky, but developed into a show rivaling “BTVS” and equaling any of the “Star Trek” series. I should have known better than to give up on Joss Whedon. He has championed his story with Universal and they are going to let him make a feature film based on it. Hopefully he can bring in the same cast and if we are really lucky it will start a new movie franchise.
p.s. If they ever release this series on DVD and you didn’t catch it the first time around, be sure to see at least the final 3-4 episodes . The season closer absolutely rocked.

After a summer on the edge of my seat, Page 2 has done their review of the home of the Astros. All in all, the write-up was pretty good, but I’ve got to quibble with Eric Neel on a couple of issues.
Read more!Recently on this blog, there was a sub-discussion about RSS readers. (For the uninitiated, an RSS reader is a program that pulls data from your favorite blogs and presents blog entries in a presentation similar to an email program.) I personally haven’t seen one that looked good enough to use for the few blogs I read, but I expect that to change as I expand the blogs I read. Here’s an article at ExtremeTech.com that attempts to cover all the latest RSS software.
