No, this item is really getting thrown up here to remind us that these folks really are playing at extremely high effort. Even down at the college and high school level. Isn’t it time we paid college athletes so that if/when their knee is blown, or they collapse in the heat, at least they’ve got a little cushion with which to finish school or get set up in a small business?

Luckily Larry Smith is doing fine. Hopefully, there won’t be any fatalities this year.
